Bossy Pants by Tina Fey

Funny, but disappointing-expected more slap-stick laughs and SNL humor, but instead Tina Fey offers a glance into what helped her achieve the status of one of Saturday Night Lives funniest females. Long in parts and humorless rants that read like she is the only one who gets the joke, Bossy Pants falls short of what is expected by such a funny individual.

We are introduced to the family, friends and awkward moments that have help shaped Tina Fey and her climb to the top of one of the highest paid female comedians, while being reminded that even the funniest people come from the most stable of lives.

Wait to borrow from friend or pick up from a flea market, Bossy Pants is worth the wait. Instead, pick up an old copy of People magazine, re-watch a DVR of SNL, or just take out the trash before committing to reading this dry and sometimes overtly satirical attempt at making you smile.
